Dental Hygiene Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team at MCA Dental. As a key contributor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of patient care and oral health.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough medical health history screenings and updates for patients.
- Perform baseline and routine assessments, including full mouth charting, probing, and oral cancer screening.
- Take radiographs and impressions as prescribed by the dentist, and intraoral photos.
- Identify conditions and oral diseases such as gingivitis, caries, or periodontitis.
- Develop personalized dental hygiene treatment plans, including preventive care and scaling, prophy, and fluoride treatments as needed.
- Provide patients with oral hygiene instruction, plaque control guidance, and postoperative instructions as required.
- Maintain accurate documentation and charting.
- Identify scheduling gaps and assist with scheduling, including booking preventive recall appointments and following up on outstanding treatment plans.
- Collaborate with colleagues during downtime to ensure seamless patient care.
- Diploma or degree in Dental Hygiene.
- Registered Dental Hygienist in good standing with the CDHO.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- A friendly and collaborative personality.
