Job Title: Indian Cuisine Chef

We are seeking a skilled Indian Cuisine Chef to join our team at Rangoli Indian Cuisine. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of Indian dishes to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring that all dishes are presented to the highest standards.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and ensure that all food is handled and cooked safely.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they are clean and well-maintained.
  • Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food, and ensure that all staff are aware of food safety procedures.
  • Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
  • Cleaning and Organization: Clean kitchen and work areas, and organize buffets and banquets.
Cuisine Specialties:

We specialize in East Indian cuisine, and are looking for a chef who has experience in this area.

Experience:

We are looking for a chef with 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.

Language:

The language of work is English.

Working Hours:

The working hours are 30 to 40 hours per week.
