Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at HOOKAH HOUR LTD. As a Retail Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Ensure that sales workers are assigned to duties that align with their skills and abilities, and that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
  • Hire and Train or Arrange for Training of Staff: Recruit, hire, and train new staff members, or arrange for training to be provided by external sources.
  • Authorize Return of Merchandise: Review and authorize returns of merchandise, ensuring that all returns are processed in accordance with company policies.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules for sales workers, ensuring that the store is adequately staffed at all times.
  • Sell Merchandise: Assist customers with purchases, and ensure that all sales are processed accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepare Reports on Sales Volumes, Merchandising, and Personnel Matters: Compile and analyze data on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Resolve Issues that May Arise: Address customer complaints, resolve supply shortages, and handle other issues that may arise in the store.
  • Organize and Maintain Inventory: Ensure that inventory is accurately counted, and that stock levels are maintained at optimal levels.
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities of Workers: Oversee the activities of sales workers, and ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week.
