Salary

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

In this role, you will work closely with our Student Wellness team to provide speech and language therapy services to students in our nine schools. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with teachers and other school staff to identify and address communication disorders in students.
  • Developing and implementing individualized plans to support student development.
  • Educating clients, families, and school staff about communication disorders and strategies for supporting students.
  • Providing professional development opportunities to the school-based team as requested.
  • Creating reports and recommendations to support student success.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Experience working with diverse populations, particularly in First Nations communities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel to remote communities as needed.
  • Fluency in Cree or Dene language is an asset.
