The Meadow Lake Tribal Council invites applications for a Speech-Language Pathologist to join its Office of Education team.
As a member of the Student Wellness Team, the successful candidate will work collaboratively with education professionals and stakeholders to support students with communication disorders.

About the Role

This is a contractual position that requires a Speech-Language Pathologist to assess, identify, and address language, speech, voice, resonance, and fluency disorders in students. The ideal candidate will be able to travel extensively to First Nation communities and work effectively with diverse populations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' communication skills
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to address identified communication disorders
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective support for students
  • Educate and supervise support staff on articulation therapy techniques
  • Work closely with Early Learning Teams to provide language and literacy interventions
Requirements

To be successful in this role, the successful candidate will possess:

  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field
  • Valid Saskatchewan licensure as an SLP
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Compensation Package

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. A comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional development are also included.
