Auberge du Pommier, a renowned hospitality company, is seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at Ceci Bar, a vibrant beach-inspired retreat. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, crafting innovative cocktails, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to O&B standards.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of cocktails, wine, and beer, including ingredients, preparation methods, and pairing recommendations.
  • Build relationships with guests, anticipate their needs, and provide personalized service.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure seamless service, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and adhere to health and safety protocols.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

Requirements

  • SmartServe certification.
  • At least 6 months of experience as a bartender.
  • Enrolled or completed a Hospitality, Food & Beverage, and/or Special Events program is an asset.
  • Wine, beer, and cocktail knowledge is required.
  • WSET certification is preferred but not required.
  • Passion for food, beverage, and providing excellent customer service.
  • Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to stand for long periods, lift and move beer kegs, liquor, and wine boxes.
  • Full availability.
