About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bar Service Professional to join our team at Baba's Hospitality Services Inc. as a Bartender. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Arrange the bar area to create visually appealing displays and ensure a welcoming atmosphere for customers.
  • Organize the operations of the cocktail lounge or bar, including managing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Clean and maintain the bar area, including washing glassware and sanitizing equipment.
  • Serve food and snacks to customers, as needed.
  • Advise customers on wine selection and provide recommendations.
  • Train and mentor new staff members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the role.
  • Collect payment from customers and operate the cash register accurately and efficiently.
  • Store and manage beverage and food products, including ordering and inventory control.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Enforce provincial and territorial liquor legislation and regulations.
  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including mixed drinks, wine, draft and bottled beer, and non-alcoholic options.
  • Take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from customers.

  • Criminal record check.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Initiative and ability to work independently.

  • Team player with a client-focused approach.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 40-hour workweek. The work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, requiring the ability to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
