About the Opportunity

WORKFORCE Dental Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced General Dentist to join our team in a remote location in Prince George, British Columbia. As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the growth and success of our practice.

Key Responsibilities

Examine patients' teeth, periodontium, and surrounding tissues to diagnose disease, injury, decay, and plan appropriate preventive or corrective treatments.
Provide comprehensive dental care including direct and indirect restorations, root canals, cosmetic dentistry, prosthodontics, oral surgery, and pedodontics.
Monitor patient progress to identify changes or the progression of dental disease and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
Prescribe antibiotics or other medications as required to manage and treat dental conditions.
Refer patients to dental specialists as needed for procedures outside the scope of general practice.
Supervise dental hygienists, dental assistants, and other staff to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient operation of the practice.

Requirements

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
Valid state dental license and current certifications.
Strong clinical skills and knowledge in various aspects of dentistry.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach.
Experience or willingness to learn advanced techniques and procedures.
