About the Role:
Westwood Honda is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Van Acquisition Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales department, you will be responsible for coordinating Buy In Appointments, meeting and exceeding monthly acquisition targets, and providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily Buy In Appointments and strive to meet or exceed monthly acquisition targets
- Approach, greet, and offer assistance or direction to customers entering the showroom with the intention of selling a vehicle
- Assist customers in coordinating appointments and perform high-quality vehicle valuation presentations
- Complete necessary paperwork to facilitate sales and handle payments
- Overcome objections, close acquisitions, and perform other steps of the acquisitions process in accordance with company standards
- Build strong relationships with customers and provide exceptional service
- Report to the Used Car Director regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analysis
- Attend and complete training as required, adhering to the VSA Code of Ethics and obtaining/maintaining your VSA license
- Perform additional duties assigned by the Used Car Director or General Sales Manager
Requirements:
- Previous sales experience
- Excellent customer service skills, striving to exceed customer expectations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Interpersonal and active listening skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Google Docs/Sheets
- Comfortable working with technology and learning custom apps and electronic vehicle management systems
- Comfortable with commission-based sales
- Valid BC Driver's License with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles
- Valid BC VSA License (an asset)
- Auto sales or Honda experience (an asset)
