Fortinet Release QA Engineer Job Description

Fortinet is seeking a highly skilled Release QA Engineer to join our Fortiguard operations team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on some of the most innovative network security products on the market.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform thorough testing of Fortinet products to ensure their integrity and quality.
  • Design and maintain testing environments using virtual machines and automate testing processes.
  • Develop and execute test specifications and test cases to identify and document software defects.
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure defects are correctly identified and fixed.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools and technologies to improve testing processes and implementation.
Requirements:
  • Experience in release QA environments with a strong working knowledge of Linux platforms.
  • Familiarity with system installations, configurations, patchings, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as shell and Perl, as well as MySQL/MS SQL.
  • Understanding of TCP/IP networking, IPv6, switching, firewall, and packet sniffers.
  • Experience with Virtual Machine configuration and setup.
Education:
  • A degree or technical diploma in Computer Science, Computer Technology, or related field.
  • Certification for CCIE and RHCE is a plus.
