About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Erie Beach Hotel Limited. As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to maintain a high level of hygiene and safety.
  • Operate dishwashers and washing machines to ensure dishes, glassware, and utensils are cleaned and sanitized.
  • Store cleaned items in designated areas, maintaining a tidy and organized workspace.
  • Assist with food preparation, including portioning and wrapping foods, and using manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.
  • Participate in cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen, including floors, cupboards, and appliances.
  • Handle and store cleaning products, and receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
  • Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit.
Requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Reliability and strong teamwork skills.
  • Will to learn and train in the role.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position, working 21 to 40 hours per week. The language of work is English.
