Job Title: HVAC Sales Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Sales Engineer to join our team at O'Dell HVAC Group. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining customer and vendor relationships, driving engineering specifications to secure business opportunities, and providing input on quotes and bids for projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive engineering specifications to secure business opportunities
  • Develop and maintain customer and vendor relationships
  • Provide input on quotes and bids for projects
  • Support business development and sales teams
  • Prospect for new customers and business opportunities
  • Provide detailed evaluations of competitive products to communicate value to stakeholders
  • Assist with troubleshooting and coordinating with technical support teams
  • Collaborate with project managers and estimators on product selection and pricing
Requirements:
  • Minimum two years of experience in a sales-based role within the HVAC market
  • Mechanical engineering degree or similar technical education
  • Ability to read construction drawings and perform accurate take-offs and pricing
  • Expertise in sales techniques and strong customer service skills
  • Valid G driver's license and own reliable vehicle
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with quoting and project management, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Working knowledge of The Ontario Building Code and associated ASHRAE Standards
