Compensation Package

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.

About the Role

The Senior Sales Development Consultant will play a critical role in supporting the Sales & Partnerships team in Canada, driving sales growth and expanding our distribution channels. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing strategic relationships with internal partners and clients, identifying new business opportunities, and implementing initiatives to drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with front-line sales representatives, leaders, and direct client contacts to support sales process and drive revenue growth.
  • Contact targeted Scotia iTRADE clients or prospects to introduce banking or investment solutions and deepen client relationships across the Bank.
  • Manage two-way referral opportunities and triage clients, working closely with the iTRADE Product Strategy, Wealth Analytics, and Wealth Marketing teams.
  • Support partnerships initiatives to develop new business opportunities on growth client segments and accelerate Total Wealth delivery while driving higher NPS (Net promoter score).
  • Undertake, support, and deliver direct sales initiatives targeting internal and/or external channels to create broader awareness of Scotia iTRADE and drive profitable relationships.
Requirements
  • University degree or work equivalency.
  • Thorough understanding of Scotia iTRADE products, process, policy, and services to provide high-level service and support.
  • Familiarity with Wealth Management and Banking industry competitor offerings and products.
  • Minimum 5 years industry experience in a sales, relationship, or account management role.
  • Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Extremely proactive, able to work well independently or in a team setting, and demonstrates high perseverance.
  • Successful completion of Canadian Securities Course is preferred.
  • Bilingualism is preferred (French and English).
  • Experience working with standard Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Excel and PowerPoint) and Salesforce CRM.
