Job Title: Senior Consultant

About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Consultant to join our Technology Risk Services (TRS) team in Vancouver. As a Senior Consultant, you will assist in developing and executing IT audit and advisory engagement work plans, contribute to multiple client engagements, and document and assess governance, risks, and controls related to IT plans, business transformation projects, and IT-enabled business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in developing and executing IT audit and advisory engagement work plans
- Contribute to multiple client engagements of varying size, scope, and complexity
- Document and assess governance, risks, and controls related to IT plans, business transformation projects, and IT-enabled business processes
- Communicate findings and recommendations to clients through advisory and assurance reports, analysis, and related deliverables
- Discuss findings and recommendations with client personnel and develop reports and deliverables
- Identify and assist in pursuits, including developing marketing materials, proposals, presentations, and research
- Coach, train, supervise, and develop junior staff

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, MIS/BTM, Computer Science, or other relevant program
- Relevant audit or accounting designation(s) (e.g. CISA, CPA, CIA) viewed as an asset
- Minimum 3 years' experience in audit or relevant industry or consulting experience
- Aspiration to pursue further relevant education/designations (i.e. PMP, CISSP, CRISC)
- Ability to identify and evaluate business, IT, and audit risks
- Experience auditing, assessing, and/or implementing business systems and/or emerging technologies
- Knowledge and experience with technology that supports GRC initiatives and processes
- Highly motivated, committed self-starter who can prioritize work, multi-task, and cope with changing priorities
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent business acumen, interpersonal skills, professional maturity, and demonstrated ability to effectively interact and strengthen relationships with a diverse group of clients and colleagues
