Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Supervisor to join our team at Everland Natural Foods Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials throughout our facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Activities: Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of activities.
  • Prepare and Submit Reports: Develop and submit regular reports to management on inventory levels, shipping and receiving activities, and other key metrics.
  • Resolve Work Problems: Identify and resolve any issues that may arise during the shipping and receiving process, providing technical advice and recommendations to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Train Workers: Provide training and guidance to new employees on shipping and receiving procedures and policies.
  • Coordinate and Assign Work: Oversee the daily activities of the shipping and receiving team, assigning tasks and reviewing work to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Requisition Materials: Order and manage the procurement of materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules and procedures to meet business needs.
  • Plan Operational Logistics: Oversee the operational logistics of the organization, including planning and coordinating the movement of goods and materials.
Work Environment and Physical Capabilities
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a shipping and receiving or logistics role.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Hours: 36 hours per week.
