Job Summary

Hamilton Health Sciences is seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team in pediatric medicine. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of physiotherapy services to children aged 0-18 with musculoskeletal and respiratory conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of children's physical abilities and develop individualized treatment plans to address their unique needs.
  • Provide evidence-based physiotherapy interventions to improve mobility, strength, and function in children with musculoskeletal and respiratory conditions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Develop and implement education programs for patients, families, and healthcare staff to promote healthy habits and disease prevention.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and services.
Requirements
  • Current registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
  • Minimum two years of pediatric physiotherapy experience, preferably in an inpatient and outpatient setting.
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm for working with children and families.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
