About the Role

As a Financial Accountant Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the financial integrity of our company by performing various accounting tasks. Your primary responsibilities will include calculating and preparing cheques for payroll, fixed assets and depreciation, as well as keeping financial records and establishing, maintaining and balancing various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cash Management: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, including reconciliations and balance confirmations.
  • Asset Management: Calculate fixed assets and depreciation, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain general ledgers and financial statements, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • Reporting: Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports as required.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent accounting skills, attention to detail, and strong organizational abilities. You should have experience with accounting software, MS Excel, and other Microsoft applications. Additionally, you should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Benefits
