Mathematics Educator

The Ontario Tech University is seeking a skilled Mathematics Educator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for teaching mathematics courses at the university level and contributing to the development of our mathematics education program.
Responsibilities- Develop and deliver high-quality mathematics courses that meet the needs of our students
- Prepare and grade all course materials and assignments
- Provide guidance and support to students through office hours and other means
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of our mathematics education program
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current in the field of mathematics education
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics or a related field
- Master's degree in education or a related field
- Experience teaching mathematics courses at the university level
- Knowledge of mathematics education in the Ontario context
- Ability to communicate effectively with students and colleagues
- PhD in education or a related field
- Experience working in a virtual environment
- Experience with educational technology
