About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable Maintenance Worker, Building to join our team at Hill Top Motel & Restaurant. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel, motel, and resort facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs to maintain a clean and safe environment for our guests and staff.
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse from our facilities.
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and attractive appearance.
  • Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
  • Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of our establishment.
  • Show apartments and offices to prospective tenants and provide excellent customer service.
  • Supervise other workers and ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair to maintain our facilities.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to maintain a beautiful and welcoming environment.

  • Work under pressure to meet deadlines and ensure that tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Repetitive tasks such as cleaning and maintenance to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Handling heavy loads to move furniture, equipment, and supplies.
  • Physically demanding work to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling to perform tasks such as cleaning and maintenance.
