Adecco Canada is currently hiring temporary and full-time Counterbalance Operators for our client in a warehouse setting. This position requires experience with a counterbalance machine and involves moving materials within the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for moving materials within the warehouse.
  • Perform a variety of physically demanding duties, such as manually loading and unloading goods.
  • Follows all company safety, security, and housekeeping protocols.
  • Loading trucks, offloading trucks, and operating a slip sheet to unload containers.
  • Must be comfortable driving and working in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  • Valid counterbalance forklift certification.
  • At least 1 year of experience operating counterbalance forklifts in a warehouse environment.
  • Must possess previous warehouse experience and be comfortable with general labor, including case picking and palletizing product.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Experience with slip sheet is an asset.
  • High energy and ability to follow processes.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with staff and outside drivers in dispatch.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
