Job Title: Warehouse Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Technician to join our team at Eurofins Canada BioPharma. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the control of materials within our warehouse, including raw materials, intermediates, finished products, and waste streams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations and report any incidents or accidents immediately.
  • Support the production schedule by working closely with key stakeholders, including Supply Chain, Operations, Technology Transfer, Quality Control, and Quality Assurance.
  • Receipt, quarantine, and sampling of cGMP raw materials.
  • Staging of raw materials for cGMP operations.
  • Identify, organize, and segregate hazardous chemical wastes according to the appropriate waste class.
  • Submit raw material samples to Quality Control.
  • Ship materials and equipment via courier between sites.
  • Support Supply Chain during the shipment of all materials, as required by clients.
  • Clean and maintain the Warehouse and Sampling facilities.
  • Adhere to all relevant EHS policies, guidelines, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Interact with clients and cGMP auditors or agencies, as required.
  • Participate in monthly inventory cycle counts and year-end counts.
Requirements:
  • College diploma or degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience working in a cGMP environment.
  • Experience with an Inventory Management System (e.g., Ross ERP).
  • Experience with shipments, domestic and international.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work with limited supervision.
  • Good interpersonal and time management skills.
  • Good documentation skills.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing warehouse, preferably in a cGMP environment.
