Salary Range

The estimated salary for this position is between $45,000 and $65,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description

As a Store Operations Manager at The Sweet Potato, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our store, ensuring that all aspects of the business are running smoothly and efficiently. This includes supervising sales teams, managing inventory levels, maintaining store appearance, and implementing strategies to drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Team Supervision: Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve sales targets, provide coaching and feedback to improve performance, and address any issues or concerns that may arise.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure accurate stock levels, monitor inventory turnover, and implement strategies to minimize waste and excess stock.
  • Store Appearance: Maintain the store's visual appeal, including arranging merchandise displays, ensuring the store is clean and tidy, and adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Sales Growth Strategies: Develop and implement initiatives to increase sales, such as promotions, events, and marketing campaigns.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous Retail Experience: A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar retail management role.
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Setting: Proven ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent written communication skills, flexibility, organized, reliable, and a team player.
