About the Role

We are looking for a Pediatrician with a minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role. You will have a Medical Degree from a recognized medical school and postgraduate studies (residency) in the field of Pediatric Medicine. A valid license to practice medicine in New Brunswick through the College of Physicians and Surgeons of New Brunswick (CPSNB) and Certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada are also required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide full-time practice in General Pediatrics, offering both inpatient and outpatient care.
  • Offer consultations to hospital-based patients as requested by attending staff.
  • Participate in departmental medical education initiatives.
  • Provide on-call services as required during statutory holidays, evenings, and weekends as part of the on-call schedule for the Department.
  • Participate in departmental and other appropriate pediatrics and hospital committees.
  • Engage in medical practice that is compatible with the Health Authority's mission, values, and strategic directions.
  • Perform other duties that may arise by circumstance and may be assigned by the Department of Pediatrics.
