Security Ambassador for a Secure and Welcoming Casino Environment

At Casino New Brunswick, we are seeking a highly skilled and bilingual Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Ambassador, you will play a vital role in protecting our assets and providing exceptional customer service to our guests.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our patrons and team members while maintaining a welcoming environment. This includes controlling access to the facility and sensitive areas, escorting visitors, assisting departments, lost and found, and monitoring and recording within a daily log and assigned notebook.

You will also be required to provide first aid and medical attention as needed. In addition, you will ensure adherence to Company policies and procedures, motivate and lead by example, and support a Great Canadian learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring, documenting, and reporting internal and external violations, unsafe conditions, potential hazards, suspicious persons and activities;
  • Referring disputes to the Security Supervisor;
  • Performing crowd control as directed;
  • Assisting the Security Supervisor with enrolling guests in the Self-Exclusion program;
  • Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations;

We offer a competitive salary of $17.00 per hour, plus benefits including dental care, on-site parking, day shift, evening shift, morning shift, and weekends as needed.

We require:

  • Previous experience or training in security is an asset;
  • First Aid/CPR and Responsible Beverage certifications are required;
  • CNB provides the necessary training and certification for successful candidates;
  • Computer literacy in MS Office;
  • Able to organize data with great accuracy;
  • Knowledge of privacy legislation is an asset;
  • Ability to follow rules, regulations, policies, and procedures at all times.

Please note that permanent employment may be dependent upon the authorization and continued approval of the Provincial Regulatory Bodies. New employees will complete an application and will begin work after regulatory approval is granted.
