About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Victor Energy Ltd. as a key member of our purchasing department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Procurement Strategies
    • Assess the requirements of our organization to develop specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies to be purchased.
    • Develop specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies to be purchased.
  • Negotiate and Manage Contracts
    • Determine contract terms and conditions.
    • Negotiate rates and terms.
    • Monitor and adjust contract expenditures.
    • Manage contracts.
  • Oversee Operational Logistics
    • Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of our organization.
    • Establish and maintain contact with suppliers.
    • Establish and implement policies and procedures.
  • Perform Administrative Tasks
    • Conduct performance reviews.
    • Assist in the analysis of data and preparation of reports.
    • Monitor and inspect the quality of materials produced.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
    • 3-5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or a related field.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Membership in the Supply Chain Management Association of Canada.
    • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
