Futurpreneur is a national non-profit organization that empowers young entrepreneurs to start, buy and grow their businesses in Canada.

We are seeking a Bilingual Application and Systems Trainer to join our team in Toronto or Montreal. As an Enterprise Software Trainer, you will be responsible for designing and delivering effective bilingual hybrid learning interventions, with a focus on system and software applications.

You will work closely with the IT Manager and other teams to ensure that all existing and newly implemented technical solutions are well understood and properly employed by users.

The ideal candidate will have three years or more experience as a software trainer or in a similar training role, and will be able to adapt training strategies to accommodate various audiences.

As a Bilingual Application and Systems Trainer, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing, developing and updating comprehensive training programs in English and French tailored to different user levels.
  • Developing, implementing and maintaining training and knowledge management strategies.
  • Carrying out needs analysis to determine the areas for training and build strategies and solutions accordingly.
  • Help shaping a vision for digital learning by introducing and evaluating innovative tools, platforms and styles when appropriate.
  • Collaborating with subject matter experts and stakeholders to understand the software's features, functionalities and intended usage.
  • Creating engaging and interactive training materials, including presentations, manuals, videos and online tutorials.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant education background in Business, Computer Science, Information systems or related field or equivalent hands-on career experience.
  • Microsoft Certified Trainer certification or equivalent is an asset.
  • Experience in supporting Microsoft 365 suite (Entra ID, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams).
  • Bilingualism in French & English (spoken & written) required as you will be required to work on a daily basis with non-bilingual team members and/or clients across Canada and at Head office in Toronto.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders effectively in English and French.
  • Patience and a customer-centric approach when working with learners.
  • Familiarity with instructional design principles and training evaluation methods.
  • Highly organized and able to manage training schedules and materials effectively.
  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.

This is a full-time position located in Toronto or Montreal, with a salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
