G.Future: Gerdau's Next Generation of Leaders

We're proud to offer G.Future, a program designed to develop future leaders for our company. As a member of this leadership program, you'll participate in an intensive 12-month program that includes on-the-job learning, classroom training, coaching, and mentorship from experienced leaders.

Program Highlights:

  • You'll be responsible for solving large- and small-scale problems.
  • You'll work as a leader managing the strategic implementation for overall business goals.
  • You'll participate in a Mentorship Program, which will help you build a successful career.
  • You'll visit our customers and suppliers to gain in-depth knowledge of our business.
  • You'll gain a holistic view and acumen of the industry by working with each level of Gerdau North America.
  • You'll travel to various destinations throughout the US and Canada.
  • You'll interact with other G.Futures from across North America while tackling some of the organization's biggest challenges.
  • You'll grow a set of managerial, interpersonal, analytical, and technical skills.
  • You'll work with software such as SAP and Excel.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or other applicable degree.
  • Recent graduate or planning to graduate.
  • Record of high academic achievement (Minimum GPA 3.0, preferred GPA 3.5 or higher).
  • Preference for those with a degree-related internship experience.
  • Well-rounded applicants with leadership roles in student organizations or extra-curricular activities.
  • A high learning agility and willingness to adapt and develop continuously.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring current or future sponsorship for employment.
  • Ability to travel to various locations within the United States and Canada during the length of the program.
  • Preference will be given to those that demonstrate an ability to function in a team environment while also being able to work alone with minimal supervision.
