Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aquatics Swim Instructor to join our team at Life Time. As an Aquatics Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching swimming lessons and aquatic events to members of all ages and skill levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Instruct swimming lessons and aquatic events to members of all ages and skill levels
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to member inquiries and concerns
  • Maintain a safe and clean pool environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations
  • Develop and implement aquatic programs and services that meet the needs of our members
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred
  • CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguard certifications required; must be obtained within 60 days of hire
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and stand for prolonged periods

Preferred Qualifications

  • Swim lesson instruction or coaching experience
  • Experience working with children and adults with varying skill levels
