Northumberland Hills Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Physician Leader to join our established Hospitalist program. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the growth and development of our program.
Key Responsibilities
- Most Responsible Physician (MRP) for medical patients, working collaboratively with local General Practitioners, Specialists, Nurse Practitioners, and Allied Health professionals.
- Participating in the call schedule for the Hospitalist Program, contributing to ongoing quality improvement initiatives, and enhancing the delivery of care within the acute and post-acute departments.
- Anticipate a shared daily caseload of approximately 25 to 35 patients for the team (Physician and NP).
Qualifications
- Certification with the College of Family Physicians (CCFP)
- Registered with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)
- Family Medicine or Internal Medicine trained
- Strong communication and interprofessional skills
