About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team at Armco Capital Inc. in London, ON. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing assigned projects from development to delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Execution: Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Value Engineering: Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements, and implement value engineering initiatives to enhance project efficiency.
  • Contract Management: Review and validate scope of work, budgets, and schedules with general contractors and other stakeholders.
  • Project Monitoring and Reporting: Track project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and provide regular project updates to stakeholders.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor project team members, including associate project managers and site coordinators, to ensure effective project execution.
  • Performance Evaluation: Evaluate team performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence decisions and motivate team members. Proficient in construction management software, including Procore.
  • Personal Qualities: Tenacious, results-driven, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
