Project Manager - ZTR Control Systems Project Manager

About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the project management life cycle for engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
  • Oversee project schedules, budgets, and quality standards throughout the development cycle.
  • Lead and motivate project teams, maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders.
  • Drive engineering deliverables through New Product Introduction phase gate processes.
  • Manage documentation control, financial components, and deliverable traceability and project progress.
  • Prepare and present regular project updates to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify risks and create contingency plans.
Requirements
  • 5-7 years of proven engineering or technical project management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Mechanical, or relevant field.
  • PMP designation is an asset.
  • Experience in delivering electronics, telematics, or communication systems.
  • Skilled in using PLMs or deliverable traceability tracking/documentation tools.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite and scheduling software.
  • Organized, with ability to track project resources, budgets, and mitigate risks.
  • Team player with strong relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Innovative, adaptable, and committed to finding solutions.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement, self-development, and lifelong learning.
