Senior Business Development Manager

Job Summary:
The Vice President of Business Development at Brock Canada is responsible for leading the sales activities of the organization. This role involves managing a diverse team that supports multiple companies and service lines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic plan to meet business objectives.
- Establish and maintain customer relationships.
- Assemble deliverables to solicit business from clients.
- Identify business development and sales opportunities.
- Convey the company's message effectively in business development discussions.
- Facilitate team and client meetings.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and suggest changes.
- Accountable for the well-being of assigned plant sites.
- Resolve customer issues with operational leads.
- Utilize subject matter experts within the business development function.
- Manage sales force to track and prepare reports of business opportunities.
- Represent the company at trade association meetings.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or 8+ years of related experience.
- Specialty services background preferred.
- Maintains awareness of new and emerging technologies.
- Ability to demonstrate conflict resolution and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to interface with various levels of management, customers, and operations.
- Proficient in business technical writing and creating presentations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Ability to exercise discretion and good judgment in interpreting company policies.
- Strong communication skills.
- Travel required to regional offices, jobsites, and client meetings.
