Job Summary:

The Vice President of Business Development at Brock Canada is responsible for leading the sales activities of the organization. This role involves managing a diverse team that supports multiple companies and service lines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to meet business objectives.
  • Establish and maintain customer relationships.
  • Assemble deliverables to solicit business from clients.
  • Identify business development and sales opportunities.
  • Convey the company's message effectively in business development discussions.
  • Facilitate team and client meetings.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and suggest changes.
  • Accountable for the well-being of assigned plant sites.
  • Resolve customer issues with operational leads.
  • Utilize subject matter experts within the business development function.
  • Manage sales force to track and prepare reports of business opportunities.
  • Represent the company at trade association meetings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or 8+ years of related experience.
  • Specialty services background preferred.
  • Maintains awareness of new and emerging technologies.
  • Ability to demonstrate conflict resolution and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to interface with various levels of management, customers, and operations.
  • Proficient in business technical writing and creating presentations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and good judgment in interpreting company policies.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Travel required to regional offices, jobsites, and client meetings.
