Trillys Systems is seeking a highly skilled Senior Security Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess Canadian citizenship or 10 years of residency in Canada, as well as one or more IS Security Certifications. A minimum of 7 years of experience in IT/IS Security is required. Desirable qualifications include a university degree in computer science, government of Canada security experience, and network and computer security experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for working in a security environment, with a focus on threat/risk assessment, policy, and operations. This is an on-site position in Ottawa, and the candidate must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. **Key Responsibilities:**

* Conduct threat/risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
* Develop and implement security policies and procedures
* Collaborate with the IT team to ensure the security of company systems and data
* Provide security awareness training to employees

**Requirements:**

* Canadian citizenship or 10 years of residency in Canada
* One or more IS Security Certifications
* 7 years of experience in IT/IS Security
* University degree in computer science (desirable)
* Government of Canada security experience (desirable)
* Network and computer security experience (desirable)
