Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team at North Lake Enterprises LTD. As a key member of our estimating department, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed estimates of labour and material costs for our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs for construction projects
  • Develop and maintain a directory of suppliers and trade contractors
  • Liaise with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure accurate cost estimates
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
  • Monitor and adjust contract expenditures to ensure project profitability

Requirements:

  • College/CEGEP degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in construction estimating
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
