About the RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and compassionate LPN to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients. As an LPN, you will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care, including medication management, wound care, and personal assistance tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and develop individualized care plans for clients, taking into account their physical, emotional, and social needs
- Provide hands-on care, including administering medications, performing wound care, and assisting with activities of daily living
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and community health workers
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of client care, including progress notes and medication administration
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A diploma in Practical Nursing from a recognized institution
- Current full practicing licensure with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC (CLPNBC)
- Certificates in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and First Aid
- Recent experience working in a long-term care or assisted living environment
