Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Plastic Moulding Supervisor to join our team at Ontario Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the production team in the injection moulding process, ensuring high-quality products and meeting productivity targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and perform minor adjustments to equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Prepare and weigh resins, colorants, and other chemicals according to formulae
  • Monitor and inspect the quality of material produced, maintaining strict quality control standards
  • Operate mixing machines to blend plastic and other chemicals to specific consistency and viscosity
  • Set up and operate one or more moulding machines to mould plastic products, adhering to formulation cards
  • Organize and maintain inventory levels, minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency
  • Utilize computer numerical control (CNC) machines to streamline processes
Requirements:
  • Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Proven track record in a supervisory role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong technical knowledge of injection moulding processes and machinery
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Manual dexterity and ability to lift heavy loads
  • Physically demanding role, requiring standing for extended periods and handling heavy equipment
