Matrix Labour Leasing Ltd is seeking experienced welders for a full-time position in Calgary AB.
Job SummaryWe are looking for skilled welders to join our team in Calgary AB. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2-4 years of experience working as a welder and previous experience with MIG and Flux Core welding.
Key Responsibilities- Weld gauge metal and light structural parts using MIG and Flux Core processes
- Fitting of fabricated parts
- Torch and plasma cutting
- Preparation / fabrication of parts
- Read and follow drawings accurately
- Responsibly operate and handle tools and machinery
- Perform quality checks on parts from current and previous fabrication operations
- Other duties and tasks as assigned by your manager
- Minimum 2-4 years' experience working as a Welder
- Previous MIG and Flux Core welding experience is required
- Experience using oxy-acetylene torch and/or plasma cutting
- Previous experience and knowledge of operating hand and power tools
- Comfortable working at heights and in outdoor conditions year-round
- Good working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office
- Well organized with a strong attention to detail
- Excellent safety record / safety conscious
- Experience in an industrial capacity
