Fitch Group is committed to fostering an inclusive and progressive work environment where employees can thrive and contribute their best work. As a Credit Analyst Associate Director, you will play a key role in supporting the Funds and Asset Management group in Toronto.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing quantitative and qualitative factors influencing the credit quality of funds and structured transactions, including portfolio analysis. They will also lead on-site due diligence review meetings with fund managers, develop new methodologies for rating funds and structures based on market demand, and author research on relevant trends affecting the sectors the group covers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze financial data and credit risk to inform rating decisions
  • Develop and maintain financial models and databases
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and development
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory developments

Requirements:

  • 4-8 years of experience in finance, with exposure to funds or structured finance transactions a plus
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
