Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Credit Analyst Associate Director to join our growing North American Non-Bank Financial Institutions Group. As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with senior analysts to develop and maintain financial spreads and tools, analyze key quantitative and qualitative factors influencing credit quality, and present analysis to our internal credit rating committee.

Responsibilities
  • Perform in-depth analysis of Non-Bank Financial Institutions, including financial statement analysis and industry research.
  • Develop and maintain financial spreads and tools to support credit rating decisions.
  • Present analysis to our internal credit rating committee and external audiences, including investors, analysts, and media.
  • Conduct onsite meetings with company management to gather information and build relationships.
  • Communicate rating rationale and credit opinions to external audiences through written research reports, press releases, and conference calls.
  • Participate in the evaluation of other credits within Financial Institutions and assist in related industry studies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as finance, accounting, or economics.
  • 5-7 years of analytical experience, preferably in credit analysis or a related field.
  • Expertise in Excel and Word, with strong analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to shift fluidly between multiple projects as priorities change and excel in a team-oriented environment.
  • MBA and/or CFA, or progress toward these designations, a plus.
  • Some coverage or knowledge of bank or non-bank sectors, capital markets, and/or credit analysis experience a plus.
