Job Title: Sewing Machine Operator

We are seeking a skilled Sewing Machine Operator to join our team at HIGH CLASS FURNITURE LIMITED.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating sewing machines to join sections of garments or other articles into finished products on a piece-work or production basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform minor repairs and adjustments to equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Operate sewing machines or sew by hand to assemble garments or other articles.
  • Use sewing guides and tension devices to achieve precise stitching.
  • Work with a variety of materials, including cotton, synthetic, leather, and velvet.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy work environment by following established protocols and procedures.
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to distinguish between colors and work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking environments.
  • Repetitive tasks and sitting for extended periods.
  • Permanent employment with 35 to 40 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
