Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Infirmier(ère) Immatriculé(e) Gestionnaire d'Unité to join our team at Villa Providence. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to our residents and leading a team of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
  • Develop and implement care plans that are tailored to the individual needs of each resident, in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Supervise and evaluate the work of nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they are meeting the highest standards of care.
  • Manage resources effectively, ensuring that the unit is running efficiently and that all necessary supplies and equipment are available.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance the quality of care provided.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies, including those related to infection control, medication management, and resident rights.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and other stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met and that they are satisfied with the care provided.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in nursing practice and research, applying this knowledge to improve the quality of care provided.

Requirements:

  • Current registration as an Infirmier(ère) Immatriculé(e) with the relevant regulatory body.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership role in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to deliver high-quality care.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and teamwork.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and policies, including those related to infection control, medication management, and resident rights.
