Job Overview

As a Senior Safety Engineer in LHR Américas Distribution Department, you will play a pivotal role in maximizing energy production value and contributing to enhancing societal benefits.

Your primary objective will be to plan, establish, implement, and maintain safety and environmental measures and initiatives that ensure compliance with corporate and local department HSE requirements.

To excel in this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or a related field, accompanied by 8 years of relevant experience in safety operations.

You will be responsible for providing expert advice and consultation to department staff, conducting job site safety compliance inspections, and preparing safety orientations and training programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Offer professional advice and consultation to department staff to help them maintain a safe working environment, adhering to environmental and safety regulations.
  • Conduct thorough job site safety compliance inspections, including hazard analyses and safe work procedures.
  • Prepare comprehensive safety orientations, training programs, and job site inspection procedures, as well as conduct specialized safety and environmental training to communicate hazard control information.
Compensation Package

The estimated monthly salary for this position is $15,000. The compensation package includes:

  • A monthly base salary of $12,000, aligned with company employees with similar skills.
  • A monthly overbase of 25% of the monthly base salary.
  • A benefits supplement of 20% of the monthly base salary after three years of service, increasing to 25% after six years and 30% after twelve years.
  • A severance package with a two-year vest period, offering two weeks' pay for each year of service up to five years, and four weeks' pay per year thereafter.
  • Employment tax benefits for employees who choose to separate from their home country for income tax purposes.
  • An employee share purchase plan (ESPP) available after one year of service, allowing a maximum purchase equal to 10% of the monthly base pay with a cap, and a 20% share discount.
  • An annual incentive plan based on performance, offering approximately $8,200 per household member over eleven years old residing in Saudi Arabia and $6,000 per household member under eleven years old.
  • Vacation and paid holidays, including thirty-eight vacation days, four travel days, and eleven to thirteen paid holidays.
  • A medical and dental plan, providing complimentary in-Kingdom Johns Hopkins medical care and facilities for employees and eligible family members, as well as subsidized in-Kingdom dental services.
  • An educational assistance plan (EAP), covering out-of-kingdom expenses at 90% with a maximum per child, and offering two round-trip economy air travel tickets for undergraduate college-age children, along with a single or bachelor status allowance of 60% of the monthly base salary.
