Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Therapeutic Endoscopy group as a Clinical Research Assistant II. The successful candidate will be responsible for recruitment and data collection for our therapeutic endoscopy registry, obtaining and maintaining ethical approval for various studies, and assisting with other projects. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a dynamic clinical setting, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Basic Requirements

  • Secondary school diploma
  • 2 years of clinical research experience
  • Evidence of training certification in Tri-Council Policy Statement -2 (TCPS-2) and the International Conference on Harmonization - Good Clinical Practice Guidelines (ICH-GCP)
  • Experience with ethics board study applications
  • Proven ability to carry out tasks required for clinical research studies and navigate competing priorities
  • Commitment to quality and excellence, attention to detail in ensuring compliance with the protocol
  • High energy and communication skills to ensure successful project progression and patient recruitment and retention
  • Strong computer and data entry skills, including experience with electronic data capture
  • Comfortable with being present in an endoscopic procedure room
  • Training and experience in EPIC and REDCap are assets but will be provided

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in health economics/conducting cost-analyses
  • Bilingualism is considered an asset

Compensation Pay Range

Min: $25.212 – Max: $33.615
