Job Overview

We are hiring skilled I.T Field Technicians that will be responsible for generating detailed incident tickets, determining the level of urgency/severity of the problem and resolving it at the first level whenever possible.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware, and computer peripherals.
  • Documentation and Upgrades: Documents, maintains, upgrades, or replaces hardware and software systems.
  • User Account Support: Supports user account information including rights, security, and systems groups.
  • Training and Product Support: Trains employees, identifies and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed.
  • Customer Needs Analysis: Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers' needs.
Requirements:
  • Availability: Available to work extended hours including weekends and evenings for the duration of the contract.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Education: High school diploma and college or university enrollment/degree.
  • Experience: 2+ years experience working as a break/fix Field IT technician and or lead break/fix Field IT technician.
  • Technical Knowledge: Excellent technical knowledge of hardware and Windows 7, and Windows 10 operating systems.
  • Protocols and Standards: Working technical knowledge of current protocols, operating systems, and standards.
  • Documentation and Training: Able to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation, and OEM guides. Able to develop and interpret technical documentation for training and end-user procedures.
  • Familiarity with Devices: Familiar with personal computers/printers/wireless connectivity devices.
  • Vehicle Ownership: Possession and use of an owed car for travel between locations.
  • Mobile Device Requirements: Android 4.4+ or Apple iOS9+ or Windows Phone 8+ including a data package to receive emails and instant messaging.
  • Lifting Ability: Ability to lift a 20 lbs. box from the floor to a tabletop surface.
Estimated Salary: $50,000 - $70,000 per year (dependent on experience)
