International Tax Senior Accountant

Baker Tilly WM LLP is a leading midsize accounting and advisory firm seeking an experienced International Tax Senior Accountant to join our tax practice in Vancouver or Toronto.

About the Role

This versatile role will involve working directly with a number of our staff and clients, providing technical research and documenting tax plan recommendations, preparing and reviewing international individual and corporate tax returns, and coordinating and managing client accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review international individual and corporate tax returns
  • Verify tax assessments
  • Perform technical research and documenting tax plan recommendations
  • Correspond with clients, other advisors, and tax authorities
  • Coordinate and manage client accounts
  • Assist managers and partners with tax initiatives, including developing and implementing tax planning strategies for clients
  • Understand, analyze, and research tax queries for clients, partners, senior managers, and managers
  • Collaborate with and support team members in providing exceptional client service
  • Provide leadership and direction to junior team members to ensure completion of filings by designated deadlines

Salary range: $60,000 - $85,000 per annum
