EWS Group is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Project Manager to join their team.

Job Description

Cybersecurity Project Managers play a critical role in ensuring the success of IT projects. This position will work closely with the Information Security team and other stakeholders to deliver cybersecurity projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, experience working with security teams, and excellent communication skills. They will be responsible for planning, designing, managing, and carrying out project plans, as well as identifying key stakeholders, ensuring all work is compliant with relevant security standards, and completing projects within deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement project plans to ensure timely delivery and compliance with security standards.
  2. Define project scope, costs, success criteria, dependencies, assumptions, and constraints with stakeholders.
  3. Liaise with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate project risks.
  4. Prepare and present project status reports, proposals, and other documentation as required.

Requirements:

  • At least 5+ years' experience in project management as a practitioner and with at least 2+ years' experience with Information Security initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of security frameworks and industry regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Experience with Information Security projects and/or programs is an asset.

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
