Cybersecurity Leadership Position

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Cybersecurity Advisor to join our team at Aviva Canada. As a key member of our Security Advisory Services, you will provide expert guidance to business lines and IT teams in maintaining risk and controls aligned with Aviva Group's Cybersecurity standards.
Job Description- Provide mentorship to business lines to ensure design, development, and implementation of projects and initiatives comply with Aviva's Cybersecurity Standards.
- Assist in assessing Cybersecurity risk for business functions to inform decisions that protect information assets.
You will be responsible for leading sophisticated projects, providing security advice to mitigate Cybersecurity risks, reviewing architecture documents, and crafting security assessment reports. Your passion for new technologies and experience implementing security controls to protect them will be invaluable to our team.
Key Responsibilities- Lead complex projects, providing security advice to minimize Cybersecurity risks.
- Excel in reviewing architectural documents and creating detailed security assessment reports.
- Promote awareness of Aviva's Cybersecurity Standards and Policies among stakeholders.
- Support management in matters related to Cybersecurity efficiently.
- Address daily requests from IT and business users on security-related matters and take ownership until resolution.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Cybersecurity Threat Risk Assessments for new applications and systems, as well as cloud-based solutions.
- Leadership experience in at least one key area of the team's responsibility.
- Experience with 3rd Party Supplier Assurance and Risk Assessments, including issue remediation.
- Managing the pen test program with external vendors and IT teams.
- Access Management reviews, including Privileged access, processes, and tools.
- Knowledge of PCI Compliance requirements and Compliance Attestation process.
- Knowledge of Ariba, Archer GRC, or equivalent platforms.
- Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT Security, Risk Management, or comparable professional training.
- Professional designation related to Cybersecurity or IT Risk (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CISM, CCSP/CCSK, GIAC) is preferred.
- A competitive salary range of $120,000 - $160,000 per year.
