We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Risk Management Lead to join our team in Toronto, Canada. The successful candidate will lead all aspects of our Security Advisory Services functions, including risk assessments, threat management, and incident response.

Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is $145,000 per year, plus eligibility for annual bonuses, retirement savings, share plan, health benefits, personal wellness programs, and volunteer opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead a team of Security Risk Advisors and Analysts to conduct Information Security Risk Assessments (ISRAs), Third Party Information Security Assessments (TPISAs), and manage and mitigate cybersecurity risks.
  2. Provide oversight on assessments, risk identification, and risk management processes, and tools for managing and reporting risks.
  3. Identify gaps in existing processes and technology, and develop remediation plans to address risks.
  4. Assist in the development of cybersecurity risk reporting, including ongoing development and improvement of Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).
  5. Provide leadership, mentoring, growth, and development opportunities to team members.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years' progressive experience in cybersecurity risk management, vendor assessments, and application security design & architecture.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity industry standards, principles, and practices, as well as risk concepts.
  • Proven management and leadership skills in communication, prioritization, and developing talent.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex issues in a clear and concise manner to a wide range of audiences and partners.
