Job Summary:

The First Cook is responsible for producing high-quality menu items in accordance with recipes and company standards. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with all aspects of kitchen production, including setup and delivery of menu items.
• Prepare menu items to the highest standards, adhering to recipes and company guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Collaborate with the Senior Chef de Partie to ensure smooth kitchen operations and address any concerns or issues.
• Participate in inventory management and suggest new methods to improve efficiency and guest satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Familiarity with WHMIS, Occupational Health and Safety Codes, and Food Safety regulations.
• Ability to work in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
