About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Slave Lake Accommodations LTD. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties efficiently.
  • Coordinate Cleaning Activities: Plan and coordinate the cleaning schedules, ensuring that all areas of the facility are cleaned to a high standard.
  • Inspect and Maintain Facilities: Conduct regular inspections to ensure that our facilities meet our high standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
  • Recommend Improvements: Identify areas for improvement and recommend additional services, such as painting, repairs, or renovations, to enhance the overall quality of our facilities.
  • Assist with Cleaning Duties: Assist our cleaning staff with their duties as needed, ensuring that all areas of the facility are cleaned to a high standard.
  • Coordinate with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments, such as maintenance and management, to ensure that our facilities are well-maintained and meet our high standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
  • Work Setting: Hotel, motel, resort
  • Supervision: 3-4 people, light duty cleaners
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, excellent oral communication, flexibility, reliability
